The KSIJ – Central Board of Education (CBE) is a sub-committee of the Khoja Shia Ithnaasheri Jamat (KSIJ) of Dar es Salaam, Tanzania.
Formed in July 1994, the CBE plays a pivotal role in guiding and coordinating the Al Muntazir Schools in providing the best secular and religious education to all those in its care.
Education is very dynamic, as it depends on demands of its beneficiaries. Education providing institutions need not only realize the dynamism of education provision, but also have to foresee future demands and changes, and plan accordingly to at least stay abreast of these changes if not to lead in the changes.
Al Muntazir schools have experienced this ongoing evolution, from our humble beginnings to where we are. In recognition of the needs of our beneficiaries, we have expanded our campuses and facilities, increased our students’ population and supplemented these changes by recruiting the right core-academic and academic–support personnel.

The KSIJ Central Board of Education (CBE) comprises of Board Members and the Secretariat. The Board Members are persons elected from the Khoja Shia Ithnasheri Jamaat (KSIJ) who serve the Institution on an honorary basis giving their time and service to the Community.

KSIJ-CBE pledges to recognize and embrace each student’s uniqueness, and construct a solid bridge that facilitates the transition from child to young adult by providing a challenging curriculum that encompasses the intellectual, social and physical needs of our children. The CBE will promote a positive environment that nurtures excellence in teaching and learning resulting in high academic achievement for all students.
