The Al Muntazir Special Education Needs (AMSEN) caters for children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Learning Disabilities, and Development delays.
To assist children, teens, and young adults with special needs in developing potential and exploring possibilities as they navigate the challenges of school, work, and ultimately life as an independent adult.

We pro actively ensure a well- rounded faculty that includes remedial teachers, special educators, therapist and assisting staffs. Who are trained to use MULTI SENSORY Teaching Methods which is a combination of visual, auditory, kinesthetic and tactile methods to enhance the cognitive skills of the child.
This is the program whereby students from the AMSEN are taken to the mainstream to be trained for the school scenario. The Inclusion teachers work on specific areas such as:
- Transition difficulty;
- Socio-emotion skills;
- Different Traits of learning;
- Sharing and caring
- Behavior traits.
The AMSEN curriculum is geared specifically to the needs of pupils, with particular emphasis on communication and social skills.
We believe that every pupil has the right to become as independent as possible. In order to give pupils maximum opportunities for learning and development, Individualized Educational Plans are set that target each pupil’s main areas of difficulty. These targets are practiced throughout the school day and across different settings.
Individualized Adaptive curriculum for all ages of children a, emphasis on remedial intervention to build reading / spelling, writing and comprehension skills, thinking and reasoning skills, and other extra curricular activities form a major part of the curriculum.

Occupational therapy with a sensory integration approach typically takes place in a sensory-rich environment sometimes called the “OT gym”. During of session the therapist guides the child through fun activities that are structured so that the child is constantly challenged but always successful.
Effective occupational therapy enables children with Autism and LD to take part in all childhood activities such as playing with friends, school, eating meals, dressing and sleeping.
Vocational training is training that emphasizes skills and knowledge required for a particular job function. It focuses on practical applications of the skills learned or acquired and it provides the much needed hands on instruction in a specific trade.
